The Grateful Garcia Gathering '08 continues on its long strange trip, and now the bus is pulling into Legend Valley (formerly Buckeye Lake Music Center) outside Columbus, Ohio. The 3Gs takes place July 31 through August 2, 2008, and will celebrate what would have been legendary guitarist Jerry Garcia's 66th Birthday.

Bob Weir and Ratdog performed there in 2000 along with ekoostik Hookah, Deep Banana Blackout, Arlo Guthrie, David Grisman, Quintetto).

Artists confirmed for the 2008 gathering include two nights each with Melvin Seals & JGB, Moonalice, BoomBox and Donna Jean Godchaux & the Tricksters featuring all of the Zen Tricksters. Additional performers include Jackie Greene, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Waterband, Splintered Sunlight, JiMiller Band, Professor Louie & The Crowmatix, Covert Operations, Baghdad SCUBA Review, Bowser, Grateful Beth & The Volunteers, Back Home and more.
