Los Angeles based indie folk duo, We Are The West, announce their new EP, Regards, a complementary release to their on-going self-titled debut series, slated for November 4, 2014.  The 3 track EP includes singles “Hold On” and “Regards,” and embodies the band’s truly organic and genuine sound.

We Are The West was formed by Brett Hool (voice/guitar) and John Kibler (bass/voice) during a period of time spent between The Netherlands and Brooklyn.  Upon returning to California, their sound and performances have expanded to include an extended family of musicians, which has grown around their acclaimed underground parking garage concert series, with instrumentation ranging from pump organs and drums, to cellos and bass clarinets.

On stage, the duo has supported acts like Pete Yorn, Lord Huron, and Nicki Bluhm & the Gramblers, as well as chamber artists like Kinan Azmeh and Real Vocal String Quartet.  Their recordings have been featured in compilations for organizations such as Textura, Sound and Motion, and the Surfrider Foundation.  We Are The West receives praise from The Collective Powered by Vevo, In Your Speakers and more.  Folk Radio UK states, “pastoral vocals embrace poetic lyrics, this is gold dust to those seeking out an unhurried moment, a brief sojourn.”  Stay tuned for more from We Are The West.
