Z2 Entertainment is proud to present The Werks & Good Gravy at the Fox Theatre on Wednesday, October 3rd. Tickets go on sale today- Friday, August 24th for $8.00.

The Werks have quickly emerged as a national powerhouse. As a result of their eclectic individual influences, The Werks produce a dance party that can be appreciated by a majority of musical tastes. Fusing the psychedelic shredding guitar and screaming organ of jam and classic rock with funk slap bass, synthesizers, and modern dance beats, The Werks create their own style of music entitled "Psychedelic Dance Rock". Their unique style of performing is affected and manipulated by the energy of the audience, guaranteeing that each show will be different and memorable. The success is largely credited to the hard work of their street team as well as to the dedication of the band, their fans and a unique performance. The Werks have released 4 albums entitled: "Dig It" (2007), "Synapse" (2009), "The Werks Live at The Werk Out Music Festival" (2010) and their self-titled album, The Werks (2012). The band regularly tours the US and holds their annual music festival, entitled "The Werk Out Music and Arts Festival", each September.

Good Gravy’s flavor can be described as a contemporary approach to American roots music or Americana. Within their recipe, are the remnants of bluegrass, rock, folk, jazz, and even caribbean music. This band has an eclectic earthy palette that is even furthered by the use of improvisation, a hard driving rhythm section, and occasional electric instrumentation. While reaching phenomenal energy levels with their acoustics, Good Gravy pushes their music even further when they use electrics. The artistry and intermittent use of the electrics produces a dynamic story throughout their live shows that is unparalleled. Captivating melodies, thick vocals, intriguing dynamics, and intense improv jams, this bands imagination is fresh in the live music scene. Good Gravy is said to “melt the heart, as well as the face.” Original techniques in the composition of their music are paired with influences that are evident. Ensuing the paths of the defining bands in the “jam” scene of Colorado, artists such as the String Cheese Incident, Yonder Mountain String Band, and Leftover Salmon are obvious inspirations.
