At the end of the month, Kitchen Dwellers will release a brand-new EP titled Reheated, Vol. 1. Marking the first in a series of EPs dedicated to covers, Reheated, Vol. 1 finds Kitchen Dwellers paying tribute to The Band, offering up their own twist on four classic tracks in celebration of the 42nd anniversary of The Last Waltz, The Band’s famed farewell concert on November 25th, 1976.

Kitchen Dwellers recorded Reheated, Vol. 1 during a brief break between their extensive winter and spring 2018 tours. Featuring guest keyboardist Jordan Feinstein on “Get Up Jake” and “Chest Fever”, the album was recorded and engineered by Mike Scully at northern California’s In The Pocket Studio, with additional recording sessions at New Jersey’s Brooksound Studio with Jeff “Mudd” Mahajan. The album was mixed at Studio 2200 by Mike Scully.

Reheated, Vol. 1 will be released in full on all streaming services on November 30th. Ahead of The Last Waltz’s anniversary this Sunday, Kitchen Dwellers will premiere a track from the EP each day this week through Thanksgiving. “Don’t Do It” marks the first single off the album and has been released today on YouTube (https://youtu.be/azZvwiFJlYY)

The band’s guitar play Max Davies “I still remember the first time I saw The Last Waltz, the greatest concert movie of all time.  Something about that stage being lit up and the all-star musician cast that The Band had a history with. It's iconic. The Band's storytelling, musicianship, and vocal abilities are what makes them such an influential group to this day.  Those are all things that resonate with us and it was a blast to step inside their shoes and learn a thing or two.”

Currently, Kitchen Dwellers are in the midst of one of their busiest years to date. On November 23rd, the Montana fan-favorites will make their debut at the historic Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York, supporting Twiddle. The band has also been tapped to perform the inaugural East Coast edition of the renowned WinterWonderGrass festival in Stratton, Vermont, in mid-December. The Dwellers will make good use of their upcoming trip to the Northeast, with high-profile stops in major markets such as Brooklyn and Boston surrounding the debut festival appearance.

To close out 2018, the band has announced a three-night New Year’s Eve run across the Northwest, with stops in Seattle, Portland, and Bend. After a star-studded two-night run at Cervantes’ in Denver in early January, Kitchen Dwellers will team up with Colorado’s Magic Beans for a 19-date co-headlining tour across the U.S. that spans from January 12th to February 8th. The beloved bluegrass up-and-comers will also support Twiddle and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong in May at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO.
