Nationally-touring reggae-fusion act Spiritual Rez will drop their fourth studio album, Setting in the West, this Friday, October 7th. Grateful Web has the exclusive premiere of the LP’s second track, “Red Room,” featuring Duddy B of the Dirty Heads. The song is a reggae-rock banger about keeping your head and working hard to achieve your goals.

Rez’s frontman, Toft Willingham, cites the ‘red room’ as a metaphor for success and happiness. "We were blessed to collaborate with John Feldmann from Goldfinger and Max Collins from Eve 6 on this one,” says Willingham. "Kenny Carkeet from AWOLNATION also crushed the production; he's a genius flat out. Kenny was able to get Duddy B from the Dirty Heads to spit a verse and that pushed the song to the next level. I love the recording and it’s become one of our favorites to play live.”

You can catch Spiritual Rez on their Setting in the West tour now throughout the winter. This week they wrap a West Coast run before hitting the Carolinas and Florida, then making an appearance at the Suwannee Hulaween. Rez returns to New England and Upstate New York in November.
