The inaugural three-day Buckle Up Music Festival today unveiled its full lineup and daily schedules including Alabama, Willie Nelson, Alison Krauss and Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas, The Band Perry and many more.

Mixing analog electronics with bluegrass backbeats, the music of Brushfire Stankgrass has significant crossover appeal. Their latest release, "Microclimates," is sure to please bluegrass/newgrass buffs and electronic music fans alike.

Brian Haas, pianist and de-facto bassist of Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, took a moment from his extensive travels to speak with the Grateful Web about the big year ahead for JFJO, including two new albums, one of which was recorded live in Denver, Colorado at Dazzle Jazz and is slated for vinyl release on Record Store Day.

One of Rolling Stones'  "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time," this musician's musician has appeared on the albums of artists as wide-ranging and illustrious as Buddy Guy, Ringo Starr, Santana, Dave Matthews, Elton John, and Soulive. On the flip side of that coin, folks like Eric Clapton, Ben Harper, Leon Russell, and Santana have appeared on his 6 albums.
 

The timing couldn't be more perfect. Widely lauded in its hometown as "the best band to party to," Whiskey of the Damned will keep the festivities going by independently releasing its inaugural album, MONSTERS ARE REAL, on March 17, the day when everyone's Irish-or aspires to be. To get the party going, the band will play a special St.

The Mike Dillon Band and Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey are set to launch a 16-date tour of the western United States. The run kicks off with three shows in Colorado beginning in Boulder on March 19. It then cuts North to Idaho and Montana before heading to the Pacific Northwest followed by a stretch down the West Coast to San Diego. The tour wraps in April with shows in Santa Fe, NM and Norman, OK.
