Featuring three-part harmonies and driving rhythms that blend raw, live energy with traditional Folk-Americana strings, Just One of Them Nights is a rockin’ collection of songs capturing life on the road, memories of past lovers and the pursuit of adventure.

Portland Oregon-based Shook Twins enter June with a completed recording project, successfully funded Kickstarter, vinyl release, and announcement of their upcoming full summer festival season calendar. In May the group headed into the studio with Grammy nominated producer Ryan Hadlock (The Lumineers, Milo Greene) and in concert launched a successfully fan supported Kickstarter campaign to fund the project.

Robert Walter's 20th Congress have announced the first leg of U.S. tour dates to support their new album, Get Thy Bearings, available June 25 from The Royal Potato Family. The tour hits Colorado for five nights in August before heading to the West Coast in September for eight shows running from Los Angeles to Seattle.

Femi Kuti and The Positive Force have blended Funk, Jazz, and African Folk throughout their 27 year career to create a colorful and distinctive sound in the music world.  The records tell their story: After a short spell at Motown, Femi Kuti took on the Afrobeat sound with his first international album in 1998 Shoki Shoki, before rubbing shoulders with the modern urban style of his American peers such as Mos Def and Common on the album, Fight To Win.  In 2004 he opened The Shrine, the club where he recorded the live album Africa Shrine.

Real Gone Music continues its puckish pursuit of all varieties of pop music with a July 30 release schedule that ranges from the foremost exponents of pop-soul to the high priestesses of intergalactic funk, with the world's largest synthesizer and the most infamous "anti-classical" album of all time in between. The long-overlooked Warner Bros. period of legendary singer Dionne Warwick receives a fresh re-examination with two collections featuring her complete singles for the label and 19 unreleased tracks including newly unearthed work with Burt Bacharach.

Over the past 10 years he has mainly been a sideman, having worked with Grammy-winning producers Malcolm Burn and John Macy, and shared the stage with artists including Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, Justin Timberlake, Robbie Krieger (The Doors), Melissa Etheridge, pianist Joe Bonner, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Matt Morris and Charlie Sexton (Bob Dylan).
