The John Hartford Memorial Festival is proud to announce the winner of their 2017 John Hartford Songwriter’s Challenge. 16 year old Micahan Boney from Claxton, GA, won first place with her song “Gone Too Soon”. A song about how the late Father of Newgrass, John Hartford inspired her.

To celebrate the tenth annual DelFest we want to kick it off with a bang and have a couple announcements for Thursday.  First, many were wondering what happened to DMB's "Soundcheck" set which has become a festival favorite. The answer is we had set aside Thursday as an "And Friends..." to kick off our DelFest 10 Celebration.  We are pleased to announce that we have special guests for that night including Dan Auerbach (you know him as one half of the Black Keys), Preservation Horns of New Orleans, Jon Fishman, and Ronnie

Following a transformative third year, which saw the region's largest independent EDM camping festival host fans from across the country, Imagine Festival has released the first phase of its lineup and it’s bigger than ever.

Ah, the sweet sounds of Spring - While some of us spend our nights and weekends preparing for various road trips, the occasional luxurious vacation or the stereotypical retreat to Aunt Marge’s wedding recital in Northern Iowa, many Midwestern’s and music fans alike look directly towards Memorial Day weekend which can only mean one thing, Summer Camp Music Festival 2017.

The 2017 Denver People’s Fair has announced the music lineup and programming schedule for its 46th annual event. With musical performances by Guster, Night Riots, and Jeremy Garrett’s Fiddle Science - a supergroup featuring members of Leftover Salmon, The Infamous Stringdusters and Gipsy Moon - as well as over 30 other performances including bands, artists, drag shows, and creative community entertainers, this year’s People’s Fair sets the stage for a massive cultural showcase event that is uniquely Denver.

Six Chair Productions has announced the line-up for the 2017 Festival at the Farm, taking place at Prowse Farm in Canton, Mass. on September 16 and 17, 2017.

Presented by Relentless Beats & Bassrush, the country’s leading bass music brand will be returning to Arizona on May 6, 2017 with Bassrush Massive.

The 36th edition of Jazz Middelheim will be held from 3 through 6 August this year, which is slightly earlier than the weekend of 15 August, which is when the festival is normally held. “In cooperation with several other international festivals, we try to make sure that the public from all around the world can enjoy their favorite acts every year. In order to be assured that we could put the right programme together, we moved the festival up a little bit this year,” explains festival organizer Bertrand Flamang.

Twenty-five years ago, a group of college students first performed onstage at Tufts University.  In 2017, Guster is celebrating this 25th anniversary with a series of signature events and concerts. Following sold-out shows at the Beacon Theatre in New York City and a four-night run at Boston’s Paradise Rock Club, the Guster 25 celebration moves to Portland, Maine in August, with a full weekend of activities, highlighted by an August 12 concert at Thompson’s Point.

MerleFest, presented by Window World, has wrapped up its 30th year, closing out with a raise-the-roof acoustic performance from Zac Brown Band. Early estimates show that from its start on Thursday, April 27, to its close on Sunday, April 30, aggregate participation over the festival’s four days exceeded 80,000 participants. MerleFest, held on the campus of Wilkes Community College, is the primary fundraiser for the WCC Foundation, funding scholarships, capital projects and other educational needs.
