In all death there is rebirth, and following Joe Cahill’s (long time and beloved Fox Theater, Boulder Theater, and Leftover Salmon lighting designer) tragic death just a few short weeks ago I witnessed a community re-born, bound together after calamity.

Award-winning singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley will give fans the first taste of his next album with the release of its lead single, “Bourbon In Kentucky,” to radio stations today with an official add date of June 10.“Bourbon In Kentucky” explores the dark internal emotions of loss and disconnection told through an intense vocal performance by Bentley and haunting backing vocalsfrom Kacey Musgraves.  The singers’ emotions are matched sonically with scraping guitar tones and a rhythm section based in tension and mystery.

The second-born child of independent music pioneer and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Frank Zappa first took the stage with his famous father at the tender age of 12. He was entranced by the elder Zappa’s “control over the music [that] almost seemed like a magic trick.” By the mid-1980s, he was contributing his own riffs to Frank’s albums such as Them or Us and finding an artistic identity of his own as an actor, MTV VJ, and Grammy award-winning musician.

On Friday, May 31st, The Green performs at Mishawaka Amphitheatre. The sextet will release their new singles "Take Me On" and "Something About It" on May 21st. Both songs will appear on the band's third album, scheduled for release by Easy Star Records on August 20th. The Green's last album, Ways & Means, spent four-weeks at #1 on Billboard's Reggae Chart.

Sleeping With Sirens has turned into a monster of a band.  With two full lengths and an EP under their belts, they have sold in excess of 260,000 albums to date, over 95 million views on official YouTube videos and numerous sold out tours both in the US and most recently their UK run which saw venues being upgraded twice over in a matter of days.  The band is currently gearing up to return to Warped Tour for a 2nd summer in a row, headlining Main Stage.

The world’s most renowned Southern Rock band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, returns to the Sturgis Buffalo Chip’s® Largest Music Festival in Motorcycling™ Thursday Aug 8, joining a large and still growing superstar lineup of artists who will perform during the Sturgis motorcycle rally.

The first sound on Immunity is that of a key turning, unlocking the door into Jon Hopkins' East London studio. It's followed by the noise of the door slamming, then footsteps, and then finally the crisp, clipping rhythms and pulsating bass of "We Disappear" emerge.

For the first time ever in the United States, revered Hawaiian taiko master Kenny Endo joins forces with Japan's trad-pop musical virtuoso Hiromitsu Agatsuma on tsugaru-shamisen (the three-stringed banjo-like instrument which originated in Northern Japan) for a one-night only live performance.Endo's adrenaline-pumping performance is a natural fit with Agatsuma's fast and aggressive style, as they push the limits of one another's skills in concert.
