Conspirator

One of Denver’s hottest new venues turned up on Friday, November 6th with the Disco Biscuit side band, Conspirator. Sadly, this was one of the last shows at the 1up on Colfax ever. The venue closed the music venue section to stay faithful to its arcade bar roots, and ironically RAQ was the last shows there. Conspirator is far from a stranger to the area, as the Disco Biscuits play in Colorado more than anywhere else, Lotus just played in Colorado a couple months ago, and RAQ even more recently.

Silver Wrapper and Purple Hat Productions have announced the first round of artists for the second annual Suwannee Hulaween, hosted by The String Cheese Incident over Halloween weekend October 31 - November 2, 2014 at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL.

There is no doubt in Colorado about how much the members of the Disco Biscuits love to come to Boulder. In fact, they have vehemently expressed their love for the area at every show for the last several years. You guys should all move here already. It’s okay, we all do it. None the less, every time they are here it is a gigantic treat for all of us involved. Friends see friends and dance the night away. It is a true Boulder party.

Denver’s own Yamn is thrilled to announce the release of their second album Unity of Opposites on March 11, 2014. With this album, Yamn continues to push the limits of progressive live-tronica, seamlessly unifying the polar opposite sounds of pure rock n' roll music and driving electronic dance music. To celebrate its release, Yamn will be joined by Conspirator for a very special album release party at The Ogden Theatre on March 14, 2014.Yamn is one of the most progressive Rock-tronic acts in the Denver music scene.

As an outlet to further explore electronic music production, Conspirator was formed in 2004 by Aron Magner and Marc Brownstein (keyboardist and bassist for The Disco Biscuits), and DJ Omen.

The first annual Suwannee Hulaween at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida united several very different kinds of people and art in unexpected ways. Detachable hoodies with chain ties, logo pins, college kids, thumping Apple controlled bass tangoed with tie dye hippies, weed, classic rock, bluegrass and, yes, real wooden instruments all twirled together drenched in bold color and sound in a mystical forest setting.

The Werk Out Music and Arts Festival was a great way to close my festival season. Held September 12-14th at Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio, this festival was full of some the midwest’s favorite musicians and artists. It was an absolutely beautiful weekend to spend outside, although it was a bit chilly at night, the sun was out all weekend.

CONSPIRATOR has confirmed that the band will perform throughout the East Coast this Fall, hitting the road for the “Going Up Tour” presented by TheUntz.com in September, October and November. The band will visit fan favorite venues and cities for 1-2 weeks each month, in addition to scheduled appearances at the most popular fall festivals throughout the country. More information is available by visiting Conspirator's official events page.

Vibrant splashes of neon color filled the rolling hills of Wisconsin the weekend of August 9th-11th, as fans from all around the Midwest came to celebrate the second annual Summer Set Music Festival. Packing the place with an average of 15,000 attendees per day, slightly up from last year’s average, the festival maintained a substantial crowd throughout the day and into the night’s major acts.

Silver Wrapper and Purple Hat Productions are thrilled to announce several artist additions to Suwannee Hulaween, hosted by The String Cheese Incident over Halloween weekend October 31 – November 1, 2013 at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL.
