The 14th Annual NedFest in Nederland, CO is only weeks away and the festival will feature the first time collaboration of longtime music friends and colleagues Keller Williams, Kyle Hollingsworth, Steve Kimock and Dave Watts.

The 14th annual NedFest - returning August 24-26, 2012 to the Jeff Guercio Memorial Ballfield on the banks of Barker Reservoir in the beautiful high-country town of Nederland, Colorado - is proud to officially announce its daily scheulde along with single-day ticketing and camping information. Additional artists will be added to the scheulde as "tweeners," which will play in between the main acts, at a later date.

Nobody needs to remind any live music goer how active of a place Colorado and its Front Range are for seeing concerts. Intimate or gigantic, we have as much of a draw for jazz, rock, hip-hop, bluegrass, blues, indie, classical or pretty much anything else you could think of. People come in hordes from all around the country to see their favorite acts at our one-of-a-kind venue scene. Something about the Colorado attitude meshes well with hassle-free lot scenes, and of course the most important part, the concert.

I am nobody special, I come from a nobody special family in a nobody special kind of town.  However, when I spent Independence Day 2011 at Electric Forest Festival, I felt special.  Suddenly I was from the String Cheese Incident’s family and I lived in the Sherwood Forest!

The Water Bowl is one of Indiana’s hidden gems, it is a 200 acre music venue conveniently located just outside of Muncie Indiana. It is far enough outside of the city that it is quaint yet close enough for festival-goers to make trips to town for their daily necessities.  The Water Bowl gets its name from the two ponds located inside the venue.

With the end of the String Cheese Incident looming, keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth debuted yet another side project aptly called soulside.  Of all his collaborations, this one might seem like the most odd of pairings:  Kyle, DJ Logic, and Speech of Arrested Development.  Flanked by Ryan Jalbert on guitar, Garrett Sayers on bass, and

Kyle Hollingsworth  (The String Cheese Incident) steps out with his latest collaboration – soleside – which features Kyle, Speech (of Arrested Development) and DJ Logic. Backed by a full band, these three creative souls, seemingly worlds apart, will smash jazz/funk, hiphop and turntables into an explosive new music that defies categorization.

After the disclosure that String Cheese Incident founding member and guitarist Billy Nershi would be leaving the band this year, many fans were left to wonder what might become of the remaining band members.  Could they tour without Billy, or would this truly be the end of the Cheese?
