Pulling up to the Lobero Theatre on a tranquil Monday evening, March 25, the scene was set for a night far from ordinary. Lyle Lovett's scheduled acoustic performance was underscored by the presence of two large tour buses and a colossal semi-truck, hinting at the grandeur that awaited inside the modest 600-seat venue. The "acoustic" label scarcely did justice to the evening's arrangement, with a host of entertainers enhancing the festivities.

Four-time Grammy-Award-winning singer, composer and actor Lyle Lovett is a Texas legend and one of the most beloved and compelling artists in popular music. The 18nd Annual Music Of fundraising performance, produced by Michael Dorf Presents, will spotlight the work of Paul McCartney and take place March 15, 2023 at one of the world’s most venerated venues, Carnegie Hall. For the past 13 years, the 30A Songwriters Festival has attracted thousands of dedicated live music fans from around the country to hear original songwriters spanning many genres of music perform their songs. The beach resort towns along Highway 30A on the Gulf of Mexico feature 30 venues presenting over 200 songwriters and 300+ solo, band and in-the-round performances throughout the weekend of January 13 – 16, 2023.

Produced by Chuck Ainlay and Lovett, 12th of June features a mix of new originals, including previously released singles “12th of June” and “Pants Is Overrated,” standards by Nat King Cole and Dave Frishberg, and a Horace Silver instrumental, representing Lyle Lovett’s dynamic live performances with his Large Band.
