Marco Benevento

This summer, hallucinatory keyboard wizard Marco Benevento pulls back the curtain on his latest studio effort, simply titled, Benevento. Due June 10 on Royal Potato Family, the 11-track collection presents 40-minutes of small-batch psychedelia, bubbled up from his home studio (Fred Short Studios) at the base of the Catskill Mountains in Woodstock, NY.

A dance-floor-ready slice of psychedelic soul, Marco Benevento's latest single "Winter Rose" offers a silver lining in these troubled times with the zen-like refrain, "If every thorn came with a winter rose, then everything was worth it, yes, I suppose."

Celebrating its 30th year in 2022, High Sierra Music Festival is continuing to add to its milestone-year party, returning to Quincy, CA, June 30th through July 3rd. Today’s lineup appeals to as broad a range of fans as ever before, all the while keeping true to High Sierra’s legacy; an environment that has kept fans and musicians thrilled to return year after year, for three decades.

The Capitol Theatre’s halcyon days played host to rock ‘n’ roll royalty — Janis Joplin, the Grateful Dead, Bonnie Raitt, Jefferson Airplane, The Chambers Brothers, Mountain, the Rolling Stones, Joe Cocker, Traffic, Eric Clapton, and more. Friday, December 17, Dayglo Presents and RWE Partners unite and give proper respect to these melodic masters in the iconic venue where they impacted the world forever.

Marco Benevento has announced five additional shows in the first half of 2022. The Woodstock, NY-based artist will appear at Ardmore Music Hall in Ardmore, PA, just outside of Philadelphia, on February 25 and Union Stage in Washington, DC on February 26. He'll perform three additional shows in April with dates at The Sinclair in Cambridge, MA on April 7, Higher Ground in Burlington, VT on April 8 and StageOne in Fairfield, CT on April 9.

Today, Marco Benevento shares his latest single, "At The End Or The Beginning" (listen/share). Diving deep down a psych-funk rabbit hole, the singer/songwriter/keyboardist captures the zeitgeist with lyrics like "we can walk and keep our distance, the whole world changed in an instant," as he delivers a dose of blissed-out escapism where listeners can recontextualize these troubled times through a surrealistic-slanted optimism and the pure joy of an irresistible groove.
