After hanging out with Mike Gordon a bit the night before his show during the Toubab Krewe concert at the Fox Theater, I was more than ready to see his new lineup at the Boulder Theater. I pre-ordered his new album and enjoy listening to it especially on vinyl. Each time I have met him has been a peculiar, but enlightening experience.

On February 25, 2014, Megaplum/ATO Records will release Mike Gordon's new studio solo album, Overstep. It is available for pre-order now at Mike's Store and Phish Dry Goods on both CD and a 2-LP blue vinyl set. Overstep is Mike's fourth solo studio album, following Moss, The Green Sparrow, and Inside In.Beginning today, fans can listen to "Yarmouth Road", the first single from the album, exclusively at Rollingstone.com.

After the grand way the band has been performing the last few years, we can sometimes forget how much Phish used to dominate the 90s live music scene.  By the winter of 1995 the band was still performing slightly under the radar and these four musical wizards were summoning magic on-stage nightly.  The band is currently in the midst of an excellent fall tour, and with another winter looming has offered up an archival release from that distinguished period, this being from their December 7th 1995 show at the Niagara Falls Convention Center

On December 11, 2011, Mike Gordon and his band performed at The Egg in Albany, NY as part of a quick November/December weekend run of dates. The show quickly became a fan-favorite and was cherry picked for a brand new live release, simply known as "The Egg".
