The Great South Bay Music Festival, Long Islands largest, and longest running four-day music & arts festival, is being postponed to July of 2022.

The new dates are July 7 through 10, 2022 and will set up at its original home at Shorefront Park in Patchogue.

The decision was based on the numbing amount of uncertainty related to Covid compliance and safety, cost increases, artist discomfort and the now shortened lead time to successfully and safely produce a festival of this size.

Due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding safe venue capacities and local regulations for the coming months, Tedeschi Trucks Band's 2021 Wheels of Soul tour is being postponed until the summer of 2022. The legendary Los Lobos, longtime TTB friends and collaborators, and veterans of 2016’s Wheels of Soul will replace St. Paul and the Broken Bones for the 2022 summer amphitheater run. TTB’s talented keyboardist Gabe Dixon and his trio will round out the three-band bill next year as originally planned.

In preparation for the daunting path that lies ahead, the live music industry is rallying in support, announcing plans for a two-day virtual auction that will feature concert tickets, rare commemorative merchandise, and more. Tedeschi Trucks Band has reached the midpoint of its six-episode series, Fireside Sessions- the Grammy-winning group’s newly-filmed, up-close and personal home performances hosted by Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi.  Only three new installments of these very special appearances remain: Episode 4 is slated for Thursday, March 11 at 8 pm EST at nugs.net.  All previous episodes of the highly successful series are available on-demand, with a full six-night subscription.

FANS invites the music community to celebrate the birthday of blues singer and guitarist Susan Tedeschi on Monday, November 9, with a live stream of Tedeschi Trucks Band performances and historic sit-ins at Pete Shapiro's venues including Port Chester, New York's The Capitol Theatre and LOCKN' in Arrington, Virginia.

October usually marks a highlight of Tedeschi Trucks Band's schedule with their annual residency at the Beacon Theatre in New York City.
