Warren Haynes

Following the announcement of his highly anticipated sixth solo album Orgy of the Damned, due out May 17 on Gibson Records, the iconic, GRAMMY®-winning guitarist and songwriter SLASH, has confirmed a North American tour in celebration of the Blues this summer. SLASH’s newly announced S.E.R.P.E.N.T.

GRAMMY® Award-winning vocalist, songwriter, guitar legend, producer, and Gov’t Mule front man Warren Haynes has announced the Now Is The Time Tour featuring The Warren Haynes Band & The Dreams and Songs Symphonic Experience. The new show will make its debut with three special nights this June, each featuring two sets of symphonic music plus a third set of Haynes’ signature rock/soul blend alongside the debut of the new Warren Haynes Band.

On November 10th, 1999, I attended my first ever Phil Lesh & Friends show at the New Haven Coliseum. The venue, affectionately known as 'the old barn,' was just off I-95 in lovely downtown New Haven, Connecticut. It also hosted my second Grateful Dead concert back in May 1978. The New Haven Coliseum did not age well and it was gone shortly after that show in 1999. A young lad, the 20-year-old Derek Trucks, was called in as an emergency fill-in guitarist, hired on the fly.

Gov’t Mule, in the midst of its 13-stop, Thirty Years Strong tour of the West, and Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, on its opening winter/spring tour stop, both touched down on February 16 for a massive, and splendid, night of music at The Venue at Thunder Valley Casino Resort, just north of Sacramento.

In the three decades since their formation, Gov’t Mule has established themselves as a pillar of jam band music. Originally an offshoot of the early-90s lineup of the Allman Brothers Band, Mule quickly became a force in their own right, and they brought their unique brand of jammy, southern blues-rock to a packed Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles on February 15th.

The upcoming release of 'The Benefit Concert Volume 20' by Warren Haynes includes a spectacular highlight: the first-ever--and only to date--performance of Dave Grohl’s 23-minute instrumental epic, "Play," which extends to an extraordinary 36 minutes in its live rendition. This live performance is now available, offering fans the opportunity to witness “Play” being brought to life on that unforgettable evening.

Warren Haynes Presents: Christmas Jam has announced the addition of various special guests and has revealed next weekend’s event will be available to livestream on Volume.com. Joining an already stellar lineup featuring performances from Slash & Myles Kennedy, Billy F.

In a harmonious blend of rock and soul, Warren Haynes proudly releases the first single from 'The Benefit Concert Volume 20,' a soul-stirring rendition of Fleetwood Mac's "Gold Dust Woman." Performed alongside My Morning Jacket's Jim James and the enchanting Grace Potter, this track sets the stage for the electrifying live album recorded at the 30th Annual Christmas Jam on December 7th and 8th, 2018 in Asheville, North Carolina.
