Pete Pidgeon & Arcoda Album Launch Party

Colorado songwriters Pete Pidgeon & Arcoda are setting their sights on a very big year. Their new album, “All the Little Things”, was “soft” released on Record Store Day, April 16, 2016 exclusively at select independent record stores in Manhattan, Denver, and Boulder – including in-store signings & solo performances at two Denver Angelo’s CDs locations – and on the band’s website.

Their first album in six years includes one of late-great Levon Helm’s (The Band, Bob Dylan) final studio performances to see the light of day as well as Catherine Popper (Jack White, Grace Potter, Ryan Adams), Glenn Patscha (Sheryl Crow, Marc Cohn), 3-time Grammy Winner Justin Guip (Hot Tuna, Levon Helm Band), Ryan Zoidis (Lettuce), Chris Pandolfi (Infamous Stringdusters), Leah Concialdi (Nathaniel Rateliff, ATOMGA), Erik Lawrence (Aretha Franklin), RockyGrass Mandolin Champion Jordan Ramsey, and over a dozen more. The 15-song, Pidgeon-produced, stylistically diverse, Americana-tinged album was engineered by Gold Record recipient Chris Bittner (Coheed & Cambria) at The Band bassist Rick Danko’s former residence: Applehead Studios in Woodstock, NY.

The Denver Album Launch Party will be held at Larimer Lounge on June 2nd and feature a horn section of Jennifer Hartswick & Natalie Cressman of the Trey Anastasio Band, and Peter Stelling (Anders Osborne, Karl Denson). Tickets on sale now at petepidgeon.com/tickets.

“All the Little Things” is the follow-up to the band’s “Growing Pains” EP which appeared on the Grammy Awards ballot in five categories: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song, and Best Short Form Video. With the recent explosion of Colorado songwriting brethren Nathaniel Rateliff, Gregory Alan Isakov, Zach Heckendorf, and Paper Bird, and the nation’s appetite for similar breakout artists Sturgill Simpson and Jason Isbell, “All the Little Things” is favored to catapult the band to similar heights.

2016 tour dates include two stops with attendance expected to breach 2,000 – the Prospect Sound Bites Concert Series on Memorial Day, May 30th which drew over 2,500 in 2015, and a headlining slot at the First & Main Town Center Concert Series

on June 24th which drew over 2,000. The band performed at the 750-seat Oriental Theater on April 26th and Pete played the closing set of the 2016 Malibu Guitar Festival on April 30th in a band featuring Steve Ferrone (Tom Petty, Eric Clapton) & Alex Ligertwood (Santana) following Eddie Money, Richie Sambora, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Robert Randolph, Orianthi, Albert Lee, and Laurence Juber (Wings).
