A cut from Gramatik's early 2016 album Epigram, a project celebrated as his most accomplished work to date, single "Satoshi Nakamoto" served as one of the most nostalgic tracks on the record as it represented a return to Gramatik's hip-hop roots. A couple of sessions in the studio spliced with some signature production tricks, and the bits & pieces came together beautifully for MCs Adrian Lau and ProbCause to lay down some bars to complete the track. In honor of the timeless tune, Gramatik has invited a select group of tastemakers to throw their spin on the track for an official "Satoshi Nakamoto" remix EP.

Leading the pack, Beat Fatigue an artist known for his album Can’t Stop released on Gramatik's Lowtemp label, tries his hand at the single. His remix loosens up the original and gives it an even funkier feel with the addition of some mesmerizing guitar licks and re-imagined horn arrangements. Listeners will also find a pleasant surprise within the remix in the form an mind-blowing solo that closes out the tune.

Up next, Gravitas Records head honcho Psymbionic switches things up with his own interpretation of "Satoshi Nakamoto." His uptempo take temporarily shifts the spotlight from the two MC’s to make way for the enormous glitch-y bass line to take center stage throughout the track. It’s certainly not hard to imagine this one as a set staple for many festivals and world stages to come. Finally, the EP closes out with a laid back, almost lo-fi, remix courtesy of Mike Iannatto aka Cobrayama. Following his departure from Exmag, he started to explore his love for beat making and found a sound that suits him perfectly.

Be sure to pick up the "Satoshi Nakamoto" remixes out now via Lowtemp and available on iTunes, Apple Music, and Spotify.
