NXNE 2010 Expands To Seven Days June 14th - June 20th

North by Northeast (NXNE) becomes a seven-day event this year, with the addition of a brand new interactive conference - NXNE interactive - to the already burgeoning annual line-up of 650+ concerts, 40+ music-themed films and 15+ conference sessions. The 16th edition of the festival takes over Toronto, Canada from June 14-20, 2010.

NXNE interactive (NXNEi), produced by NXNE in conjunction with world-class interactive event producers FITC, announces the first confirmed featured speakers for the inaugural event. One of the world's most influential interactive entertainers, speaker Ze Frank (USA) gives a keynote address at this year's NXNEi. As one of Forbes' Top 25 Web Celebs, Ze Frank is an expert on how to build an online audience. He brings the magnetic style and subversive humour of his wildly popular online video "How to Dance Properly" to this year's event. Also appearing is content visionaryAndrew Baron (USA), known for creating the hugely popular daily online vlogRocketboom, which the New York Times affectionately described as "the obituary of TV." Innovative Un-Marketing.com President Scott Stratten (Canada) also joins the line-up, and local new media journalist Amber Mac (Canada) and Explore Music radio host and producer Alan Cross (Canada) add their unique perspectives as well.
