Geoff Union's Midwest Stomp May Tour Dates

Geoff Union and his band will be doing a string of shows in the Midwest on the way to an appearance at the 3rd annual John Hartford Memorial Festival at Bean Blossom in Indiana. He’ll be appearing with a quartet – Chojo Jacques (fiddle), Dave Wilmoth (mandolin), and Steven Crow (upright bass), performing original numbers from his 2012 release, Cold as Steel, and select bluegrass covers in his signature hard-driving, outsider style.

Geoff has made many trips across the country with the Two High String Band, appearing at festivals such as RockyGrass, MerleFest, and the first Hartford Festival in 2011. Backing him up will be a group of gentlemen who play weekly gigs together in Austin, TX under the moniker “The Bluegrass Outfit”. Fellow THSB band mate and mandolinist extraordinaire Billy Bright will be joining him at the Hartford Festival.
