The band has been playing nonstop since 2007, crafting a genre-hopping sound that rounds out traditional rock instrumentation with horns and pedal steel guitar and mixes the divergent backgrounds of its individual members with the humid, funky undercurrents of the band’s New Orleans home. They’re toured all over the country, playing countless sold out shows from California to New York and places in between and have become a must see band on the festival circuit, performing in featured slots at Bonnaroo, Jazz Fest, Voodoo Festival, Governors Ball, The Hangout Festival, Mountain Jam and many more. They were recently featured in the final season of HBO’s acclaimed drama series “Treme” in the December 22nd episode called “Sunset on Louisianne.” The band will release a new album on Wind-up Records late 2014. The Revivalists are David Shaw (Vocals), Ed Williams (Pedal Steel Guitar), Zack Feinberg (Guitar), Rob Ingraham (Saxophone), George Gekas (Bass), Andrew Campanelli (Drums) and Michael Girardot (Keys/Trumpet).
