The Meter Men & Page McConnell Come to Denver

After a spirited Jazz Fest, the Meter Men (3/4 of the original Meters) and Page McConnell from Phish came to Denver to play a sold out show at the Ogden Theater. They even added another show because of the huge demand for a place to see these legends culminate on stage.

Dark Star Orchestra | Ogden Theater | 3/30/2013 | Review/Photos

The date was March 30th, 2013. Or was it October 9th, 1977? Either way, the city of Denver held camp to the throngs of Deadheads along Colfax. On our way into McNichols Arena, I mean The Ogden Theater; there was a buzz in the air that only a live concert can produce.

The three Colorado shows featured heavy hitting setlists with a smattering of fan favorites and bustouts, and is the latest video offering from the band to capture the Bisco on the Rocks experience.

It was a special event and RRE was honored to benefit this fine organization.

Leftover Salmon Dished Out After Thanksgiving Turkey

It had been way to long since I last saw Leftover Salmon play together as a band. I recall the last time, way back in 2004, driving to the Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival in upstate New York, destined to see the band play as a festival headliner in one of their final gigs before ‘hiatus’.
