Jorma Kaukonen Brings Fur Peace Ranch to Wanee Music Festival

For the first time Wanee 2012 Music Festival will host one of the premier music workshops in the country, Jorma Kaukonen’s Fur Peace Ranch, featuring Jorma Kaukonen, Jack Casady, Mickey Hart, Oteil Burbridge, Warren Haynes, and more guests yet to be confirmed. There will be both intimate workshops and general session Q&A’s April 19 – 21.

The Allman Brothers Announce 10 Night Run @ Beacon Theater

Southern rock legends, The Allman Brothers, have announced a 10 night run at New York City's Beacon Theater on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.   The first night of the run is Friday, March 9th, 2012 going through March 25th, 2012.

Change Rocks at Pennsylvania State University

The Pennsylvania Campaign for Change has just announced a Monday, October 13 concert fundraiser to benefit Obama for America featuring many Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees and other American music icons. Additionally, the show will be a very large voter outreach opportunity for the Pennsylvania Obama campaign, which has already built the largest volunteer-based campaign in Pennsylvania's history. The campaign has more than 70 field offices and thousands of volunteers preparing for an unprecedented Get Out the Vote operation.

On August 18th, 2007 at the Tweeter Center in Camden, the sounds of powerful guitar combinations took center stage. Most people who love music equate the summertime with sitting on blanket on a lawn or dancing barefoot on the lawn of an amphitheater and enjoying the fruits of their favorite bands. This is what this show represented for a lot of people. These musicians have been staples to our scene for years, and for the most part, they haven't missed a beat.
