Vail Soul Music Fest, happening August 19-20-21, 2011 at Ford Amphitheater in the majestic mountains of Vail, Colorado, today announces its artist lineup.
Four time Grammy nominee, Ledisi, soul royalty Lalah Hathaway, and genre-bending Cuban singer-songwriter Alex Cuba top the bill during three days and two nights of music. Additional artists include British slam-champion poet and Floetry co-founder Natalie “The Floacist” Stewart, soul revival golden boy Ryan Shaw, and - back by popular demand - mighty R&B singer Liv Warfield, among many others. Over the last five years, 
We have created Revels productions of Medieval, Renaissance, pan-Celtic, Victorian, Scottish, Irish Immigrants, and Colorado Pioneers. Each year, beginning in the late summer, nearly 100 people from all over the greater Boulder and Denver area come together to rehearse and create a production with full historical costumes, live traditional music, and authentic dance and theater.
Along with announcing next year’s dates, the 
Hosting regional showcases throughout ten Midwestern cities, the Cosmic Break Tour offers independent and emerging artists the chance for a paid performance slot at this summer's event as decided by fans voting. Other showcases take place throughout April and early May in Sioux Falls, St. Louis, Fargo, Omaha, Iowa City, Milwaukee, Chicago, Duluth and then again in Minneapolis.
