Equal parts pop, rock, funk, and soul, Canadian-born zAck borer is still just the nice guy with big hair and has been creating quite the buzz in the northeast over the past few months. Landing in New York City, zAck's focus on his songwriting and development as a solo artist has helped him craft a sound built on strong lyrics and melody. Armed with the experiences of the average 27 year old, zAck has taken the traditional singer/songwriter sound and fused it with an explosive live band featuring some of New York City's most talented musicians.
In an effort to get guys his age to start paying attention to their health, zAck decided to join Movember and has been doing all he can to promote the cause. Movember is an annual, month-long celebration of the moustache, highlighting men’s health issues - specifically prostate and testicular cancer. In addition to talking about Movember on all of his social networks, zAck is driving home this important message at all of his latest shows. zAck’s next big NYC gig, zAck Borer’s Middle of Movember, is slated for November 12 at New York’s Bitter End and will be dedicated to generating awareness for the cause. zAck’s connection to cancer stems from the numerous family members and friends he’s watched live with the disease and now more than ever he wants to do all he can to honor them.
