Hangout Announces Late-Night and Schedule

Hangout Music Festival has announced the daily performance schedule for their 2nd annual beach, music and arts event. Headliners including Widespread Panic and My Morning Jacket open the festival on Friday, May 20th, Foo Fighters, The Flaming Lips, and The Avett Brothers round-out Saturday, May 21st, and Paul Simon, The Black Keys, and Michael Franti and Spearhead close-up the festival on Sunday, May 22nd. A full schedule with more than 60 bands can be found on the Hangout Music Festival website.

Hangout has also announced that tickets for select late-night performances go on sale this Friday, April 1st at 10 am ET for Hangout Music Festival ticketholders. Attendees to Hangout who have already purchased their 2011 festival tickets will have an advance week to secure their tickets to the exclusive Hangout late-night concerts. Late-night tickets are limited and can be purchased through the Hangout website and Front Gate Tickets. Any remaining tickets after the first week of sale will be made available to the general public on Friday, April 8th.

The Hangout will host 2 late-night stages Friday and Saturday night of the festival. A 3,000 capacity Hangout Late-Night Tent will host sets by Bassnectar and Pretty Lights – who will both perform additional sets during the main Hangout festival event. A second Hangout Late-Night Stage is located within the Hangout Restaurant. All shows begin at midnight.

Performing Friday, May 20th in the Hangout Late Night Tent is Bassnectar with special guest Beats Antique. Tickets are $25 for Hangout Festival ticket buyers, $30 regular price, and $35 day of show.

Performing Saturday, May 21st in the Hangout Late Night Tent is Pretty Lights. Tickets are $25 for Hangout Festival ticket buyers, $30 regular price, and $35 day of show.

Performing Saturday, May 21st on the Hangout Late Night Stage is Tony Clifton and The Katrina Kiss-My-Ass Orchestra. Tickets are $25 for Hangout Festival ticket buyers, $30 regular price, and $35 day of show.

Passes to the Hangout Music Festival are on sale now for $174, with a few $525 VIP passes remaining. “Big Kahuna” VIP tickets have already sold-out. Passes can be purchased on the Hangout website, through Front Gate Ticketing and at the Hangout Restaurant in Gulf Shores, AL.

Media, online, TV and radio outlets looking to cover the Hangout Music Festival should fill out the media credentials application link on the Hangout website under the Contact tab. The deadline to submit for credentials is April 15th.

Pitchfork Music Festival Adds Guided By Voices, Neko Case, No Age, Kurt Vile

As previously announced, the 2011 Pitchfork Music Festival will be taking place on Friday, July 15th through Sunday, July 17th at Chicago's Union Park! Tickets went on sale on March 4th, and, as predicted, three-day passes sold out in a record time of 24 hours! That said, eager prospective festival goers should fear not, as single-day passes are still available for the totally reasonable price of $45. Tickets can be purchased here.

And now, without further ado, the newest additions to the 2011 Pitchfork Festival lineup! Friday will see the addition of Guided By Voices and Neko Case; Saturday’s lineup will feature No Age, Gang Gang Dance, G-Side, and Chrissy Murderbot; Sunday’s stellar lineup now includes The Fresh & Onlys, Radio Dept., HEALTH, Shabazz Palaces, Baths, How To Dress Well, Kurt Vile, and Twin Sister. Hangout Music Festival Rolls-Out Payment Plan

Due to high-demand, Hangout Music Festival will offer a payment plan for fans looking for a flexible budgeting option. 3-day passes to the Hangout  (May 20-22, 2011) can now be made in 3 easy payments, starting at 10 am EST Friday, February 18th.

Tickets and VIP Packages paid for under the payment plan will be charged 34% of total plus shipping and handling fees at time of purchase. After that, the customer’s card used at the time of purchase will be billed another portion of the charges on April 1st, and then charged the final amount on May 1st.

Scheduling for Payment:

Deposit (at time of purchase) – 34% of ticket price plus shipping and handling charges

Payment 2 (April 1, 2011) – 33% of ticket price

Payment 3 (May 1, 2011) – final 33% of ticket price

The last day to order on the payment plan will be March 31st.

Payment plans have become a popular purchasing alternative for some of the nation’s biggest music festivals including Bonnaroo and Coachella.  Hangout is pleased to now offer this option to its patrons.

Bear Creek Festival Announces Additional 2010 Artists

Bear Creek Music & Arts Festival is thrilled to announce a once in a lifetime set of music to be performed on Sunday, November 14. The incredible musicians of Lettuce will play a special set of music honoring the distinguished careers of Maceo Parker, Fred Wesley and Pee Wee Ellis. The set will devote 30 minutes to each of their respective careers, including their solo work, their time together with James Brown and other work. Maceo, Fred and Pee Wee will play with Lettuce throughout this set and Bear Creek fans can look forward to an amazing funk retrospective.

In addition to all of the great music already scheduled, Bear Creek is excited to announce several additions to the weekend. On Saturday, November 13, world acclaimed DJ and producer Bonobo (aka Simon Green) will perform DJ Set, in addition to playing another set with his live band at the festival. The Dead Kenny Gs will also play a second set, performing both Friday and Saturday nights of the weekend, and Freekbass has been added as Artist-at-Large at Bear Creek.

The organizers for The 3g's Festival are very psyched to announce this year's festival dates. The 3g's Festival 2010 will take place from Thursday, July 29th to Sunday, August 1st, 2010. We'll be hanging at the same spot as last year, Camp NCN, Black River Falls, WI. This event is 18 Years & Older Only, so please keep that in mind when making your plans.  Tickets go on-sale Saturday, January 9, 2010 @ 10am Central.

The 2010 Pitchfork Music Festival celebrates its fifth anniversary this year at Chicago’s Union Park, on Friday, July 16 - Sunday, July 18. This three-day event will once again showcase a variety of cutting-edge, global performers on three stages in one of the most comfortable and positive festival environments in the country, all brought to fans at a fraction of the price of any other nationally renowned music festival.

In previous years, the Pitchfork Music Festival has provided attendees the opportunity to see performances by some of the world’s most innovative and flourishing young acts, often acting as a barometer for what will be popular in the coming years.
