I like to refer to Andy Hall as the silver fox of the Infamous Stringdusters. His wisdom shines through with that full head of wisdom whites and as he said, COVID-19 cannot take away music. That's some wisdom right there. October 16th 2020 he will release his new solo album, 12 Bluegrass Classics for Resophonic Guitar.

As February’s kick-off of WinterWonderGrass 2020 grows closer, the festival is excited to share the official daily schedule for their Colorado edition, taking place February 21st - 23rd in Steamboat Springs, CO. Progressive bluegrass pioneers, the Infamous Stringdusters rolled into Eugene (Ore.), January 20, and lit-up the McDonald Theater with a typically brilliant performance. This fire-breathing, five-piece combo’s relentless determination to Dust damn near every town in the country has honed their live show into one of the most reliably “hot” tickets on the thriving jam-band circuit. Every set is a high-flying adventure.

The last day of Music on the Mesa 2017 was bright and sunny as I walked over to the Patio Stage to hear local Norteno singer/songwriter Chris Arellano. I’m embarrassed to say, though I follow Nuevo Mexico ranchera music, I hadn’t heard Chris’ work before. He and his brother Rodney, along with local pedal steel player Scott Harris, treated us with more music than his one-hour set because Western Centuries broke down and couldn’t make their time slot.
