Southern-funk swamp-rockers JJ Grey & Mofro will perform at Red Rocks Amphitheater on September 22 in support of their celebrated release Ol' Glory (Provogue Records/Mascot Label Group). The album features the soulful blend of blues, rock, gospel and gritty R&B which have become synonymous with the band. The New York Times, Garden & Gun, USA Today and many more have praised Ol' Glory for its personal, Southern-inspired narratives.
 

The fifth annual ‘Our Neighbors, Ourselves’ art gallery and fundraiser takes place on Friday, September 22nd at the McNichols Building in Civic Center Park. The gallery experience will feature artwork from dozens of visual artists, as well as live musical performances by Tom Hagerman (of DeVotchKa) Ensemble, Bluebook, and DJ sets by Jonny DeStefano and Christy Thacker.

Sweetspot Records announces a September 15 release date for Quiet Money, the new CD from multiple Blues Music Award nominee Al Basile. Quiet Money was produced by Duke Robillard, recorded by Jack Gauthier at Lakewest Recording Studio in West Greenwich, Rhode Island, and features a baker’s-dozen 13 songs, all penned by Al Basile.
