Grateful Web recently had the chance to speak with keyboardist and producer Chad Staehly. He’s a member of the rock’n’roll roots group Hard Working Americans. Featuring some of the most established talents in American music including vocalist/guitarist Todd Snider, guitarists Neal Casal and Jesse Aycock, bassist Dave Schools, and drummer Duane Trucks, the band which began as a group project has grown into their own after four years of touring and recording.

Today, Leftover Salmon announced a July 31st public on-sale for their 3rd annual Stanley Hotel 3-day event March 9-11, 2018. This coming Monday at NOON MST tickets and reservations at the Stanley will become available to public, though past ticket buys have been able to secure their spots for over a week. There are several other area hotels besides the Stanley available for lodging during our event that are taking reservations now.

With the uniquely named album, Peripheral Drift Illusion, set for release October 10th, John Dylan is following up the infectiously dreamy ‘Get Beyond’ with the second single from the experimental record, ‘If I Want You To’, which presents an entirely new musical personality to the multifaceted songwriter.

It’s at about five minutes and thirty seconds into the second track (“Meet Me At the Creek”) on the debut LP, Turmoil & Tinfoil, from Nashville bluegrass iconoclast Billy Strings that you start to see his intense vision for American roots music. It’s right after a jagged, spiraling solo from Billy’s mandolinist Drew Matulich, when Billy’s guitar starts aggressively stacking power chords and suddenly leaps into a screaming acoustic guitar solo that twists its way through a dark-Cthulhu bluegrass jam.

Fresh off the heels of the highly acclaimed Classic West, and forthcoming Classic East, the Eagles will headline The Classic Northwest on September 30 at Safeco Field, home of the Seattle Mariners, in Seattle, Washington. The Classic Northwest will also feature The Doobie Brothers, who joined the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Steely Dan, Journey, and Earth, Wind & Fire at the Classic West on July 15-16 at Dodger Stadium, and will appear at The Classic East concert on July 29-30 at Citi Field.
 

The latest collaboration for the coming Brooklyn Comes Alive features members from two prominent bands out of Buffalo, NY. At this year's festival, members from moe. — one of the scene's most well known and respected acts — will join members of one the hottest up-and-coming bands on the scene today, Aqueous. This collaboration, known as moe.queous, will include a set of moe. songs, Aqueous songs, and choice covers, which can only be experienced at Brooklyn Comes Alive.

2017 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees YES and longtime drummer Alan White have today (7/26) announced that Dylan Howe, son of guitarist Steve Howe, will be joining the band's rhythm section on this summer's 31-date North American YESTIVAL tour creating a twin drum powerhouse alongside White, in similar fashion that Bill Bruford and White brought on their Union Tour in the early 1990s with two drummers playing simultaneously.
 

Though Ryan Wong’s boyish charm might be obvious to anyone who’s seen him perform solo or with his group the Cool Ghouls, what might not be obvious about the artist behind More Milk is that he is, in fact, lactose intolerant. What’s up with that? What kind of milk are we talking about anyway?
