For more than a decade, U.S. reggae artists have been building a foundation from the Hawaiian islands to the east coast.  This new generation of reggae artists continues to reach new heights of success with album and ticket sales, as well as winning over fans worldwide.  While most modern American reggae bands are rooted in the rock reggae style, there are a few U.S.

On July 10th, Ruf Records recording artist singer-guitarist Samantha Fish, will raise eyebrows with her third studio release, Wild Heart, produced by Luther Dickinson (The North Mississippi Allstars/Black Crowes). Having Samantha on guitars and Luther on various stringed instruments, they rounded out the lineup with Grammy Award-winning Brady Blade (Emmylou Harris/Bob Dylan) on drums.

Stony Plain Records proudly announces the release on July 17 of Father’s Day, the new CD from Ronnie Earl & The Broadcasters. Voted by The Blues Foundation as “Blues Guitarist of the Year” in 2014, guitar master Ronnie Earl and his band return with an even stronger package of music, his ninth album for the label.

Acclaimed Oklahoma band Turnpike Troubadours have announced the September 18th release of their third album, The Turnpike Troubadours (Bossier City Records/Thirty Tigers). The self-titled album contains 12 songs featuring the quintet’s signature blend of roots rock, folk and raw country played with grit, passion and conviction. Word of their fiery live performances has spread throughout the U.S. making them a “must-see” act.

The Lockn' Festival presents an evening with Leon Russell on Saturday, July 11th at the new Locknwood stage on Lockn' Farm in Arrington, Va.

Loud & Proud Records today announced the signing of Nashville-based band, The Delta Saints and will release Bones on August 7, 2015, the follow up to 2012’s Death Letter Jubilee that Pop Matters hailed saying the band, “…mix Lynyrd Skynyrd swagger with Kings of Leon angst and a touch of that old-time gospel to create a heady, intoxicating mix.”

British singer-songwriter-guitarist Bobby Long, who is known for his powerfully evocative lyrics set to haunting melodies, has signed an agreement with Compass Records for the release of his new album, ODE TO THINKING. The CD will arrive worldwide on August 7 with U.S. and international tour dates scheduled to support the release.

Proving that soul music can be exponentially greater than the sum of its parts, The Nth Power is transcendence, personified. "When you hear this music, you're going to feel something – you're going to connect with something higher than yourself," the band explains in their mini-documentary, Welcome To The Nth Power.
