Rock superstars Pat Benatar and Neil “Spyder” Giraldo are celebrating their latest musical milestone with the release of the CD/DVD set, Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo: The 35th Anniversary Tour on April 28. The 14-track commemorative package features their greatest and groundbreaking hits. Their lead-off single from the live CD, “Promises in the Dark,” will be released to radio this week.

The wait is over and the age of Space Jazz is upon us. Michal Menert is set to finally release his third full-length album, Space Jazz, on Super Best Records this April 21st. 

New album Hi-Rise Ranch out on April 14, 20015--Hi-Rise Ranch is LA-based musician, Pi Jacobs’ 6th record and the second time pairing with folks from her 2013 release, Urbanicana. The 6 song CD brings back producer (and keyboard addition), Eugene Toale (Kanye West, Brandy, Mya) along with Beastie Boy’s drummer Fredo Ortiz, Jaime Bishop (Francis Dunnery) on bass and Kel Pritchard on background vocals.

The fifth-annual can't-miss event features the previously unreleased Grateful Dead concert from July 19, 1989 at Alpine Valley, their last-ever performance at Alpine. Recorded live from the legendary venue in East Troy, Wisconsin, this exclusive cinema event captures the Dead in a peak era of energy and chemistry on stage and showcases classic tracks including "Sugaree," "Morning Dew," "West L.A.

Although this night did not turn out exactly how it was intended, it was still a beautiful night of sweaty blues. It was supposed to be a double bill of John Hammond and Charlie Musselwhite, two members of the blues hall. Unfortunately, John Hammond had to cancel due to the sickness of his wife. As Musselwhite would later tell us, it was the first time Hammond had canceled a gig in over 50 years.

Americana outfit Great American Taxi has shuffled the deck in 2015 and added some new dynamic players to the fold.  Having gathered with Tim Carbone (Railroad Earth fiddle player and record producer) at Silo Sound Studios in Denver, CO in late 2014 and again in early 2015 to record a new album, the band is ready to reveal what’s next.  Core members Chad Staehly, Jim Lewin and Brian Adams find themselves joined by Arthur Lee Land on guitar, banjo and vocals as well as
