Tom Constanten’s professional career began as a member of the Grateful Dead in the band’s early developmental years. His impressive solo career and collaborations on dozens of other albums make him an important fixture in American music.

The Grammy Award–winning, multi-platinum selling trio Nickel Creek—Chris Thile (mandolin/vocals), Sara Watkins (fiddle/vocals), and Sean Watkins (guitar/vocals)—officially reunites for the first time since its 2007 self-described “indefinite hiatus” with a new album, A Dotted Line.

The Melodic Caring Project (MCP), the Seattle-based non-profit founded by musician Levi Ware and his wife Stephanie, has already brought the healing power of music directly to the hospital beds of hundreds of critically-ill children since it launched two years ago. This unique marriage of music and technology has an ambitious schedule of artists set for April for streams of shows, among them Tyrone Wells, G Love & Special Sauce and Switchfoot.

NYC-based jam band Jesus On The Mainline announces the release of their new single “War” from their debut EP, out summer 2014. Their sound is reminiscent of rock greats The Black Crowes and Janis Joplin, while simultaneously drawing influences from blues, jazz and funk classics like Stevie Wonder, Louis Armstrong and Quincy Jones.  This fifteen-piece band fuses jazz, soul, bluegrass and rock for an improvisational music experience that is unique from show to show.

Deborah Bonham is not only the sister of John Bonham (the late drummer for the band Led Zeppelin she’s also an accomplished blues based, 70s-style neo-classic rock singer/songwriter based out of England who just released her latest release “Spirit” in 2014 (Spectra Records).  This is her fourth release to date.The CD kicks things off with “Fly” a bluesy.

The MuseBox announced today that Joe Moorhead has revealed a new video for his song, “Drinks in Our Hands.” The beach-based video, which includes exclusive footage of Moorhead in concert, was directed by Marcus Morelli and released by Squeaky Chair Music.

A Grateful place where Garcia fans will be Gathering! Jerry Garcia fans come from all around to dance and see some of the best jambands in the midwest at the 3G’s tribute, honoring and paying tribute to the Grateful Dead’s guitarist Jerry Garcia. It also marks the celebration of Jerry Garcia’s 72nd Birthday, and it is the 19th anniversary of Jerry Garcia’s untimely passing.
