SnowBall Music Festival brings us music fanatics together to celebrate that spirit of music, love and community in the high elevations of the Rocky Mountains. This year’s 3rd annual SnowBall Music Festival took place in Winter Park.

Spring is right around the corner and for many excited festival attendees the anticipation is building for the annual Summer Camp Music Festival, held at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois. Since 2001, Summer Camp has consistently brought some of the largest acts in jam, electronic, bluegrass, hip-hop, and many other genres, and this year is no exception.

Everyone was excited about this show in the big arena. It was the pinnacle of the Inferno. I was most excited about the space that the 1^st Bank Center provides for the fans. Most require a lot of dancing room at Disco Biscuit shows. This would allow us to dance, see the lights at a wider scope, and also mingle with everyone including those who were not able to attend the other shows.

I’ve said it so many times to so many different people, “go see the Motet”. I tell my jam friends, my womp friends, and even my white rapper friends, “go see the damn Motet”.  Anybody that has ever listened to me has been completely blown away. Most people have just never had that much funk in their face before, so it’s understandable when they complain about a neck pain the next morning.

The Bear Creek music festival at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park was a fun filled sensual delight from the tingling chill of a Friday night freeze, the warmth of the campfire, fuzzy bear costumes all around, campfire smoke whimsically dancing through the air, laser light spectacles such as green naked lady outlines surfing through the trees, and did I mention the music?
