Twenty One Pilots, Marshmello, The Avett Brothers, Kane Brown, Melanie Martinez and Angels & Airwaves will headline the 2020 Bunbury Music Festival, announced today by PromoWest Productions. One of the country’s premier music festivals now celebrating its ninth year, Bunbury will return to downtown Cincinnati’s Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove, transforming the banks of the Ohio River into a vibrant three-day festival experience June 5-7, 2020. Bunbury has received critical acclaim from Billboard, USA Today, Pollstar and Yahoo!

Billy Strings has announced a four-date, Michigan-wide mini tour with his father, guitarist Terry Barber. Barber was hugely instrumental in forming Billy’s passion for traditional bluegrass. Whether sitting and picking around a campfire, listening to vinyl records together, or teaching young Billy a lick or two, Barber sparked a massive passion, and what would eventually become a way of life, for Billy Strings.

Tickets go on sale Thursday, 1/23 and fans can expect these shows to sell out fast.

Today, Bonnaroo reveals the initial lineup for the 19th annual edition of the internationally acclaimed four-day multi-stage camping festival set to take place June 11 – 14 at Great Stage Park, the spectacular 700-acre farm and event space located just 60 miles southeast of Nashville in Manchester, TN.

It takes a hell of a lot to get me to brave the absolute sardine-pack that is a sold-out Ogden Theatre in Denver for 3 consecutive nights. There are very few bands that would warrant something like that but Billy Strings is up there at the top of the shortlist.  Over the course of a cold weekend in December, the city of Denver was lucky enough to get to take part in the only three-night run of Billy Strings’ fall tour.

Born and raised in Lansing, Michigan, William Apostol, better known to his fans as Billy Strings, was constantly surrounded by a wide array of music. His stepfather was a picker in the Michigan bluegrass scene and surrounded Billy with an array of traditional bluegrass music including Earl Scruggs, David Grisman, Larry Sparks, and Del McCoury.

The July 2019 debut of the 4848 Festival created something extraordinary: a refreshing alternative to the traditional campout festival.

MerleFest, presented by Window World, is proud to announce the next round of artist additions for MerleFest 2020, which will be held April 23-26. John Prine, Billy Strings, Colin Hay, Kelsey Waldon, and Gangstagrass will be joining the annual homecoming of musicians and music fans on the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
