Disco Biscuits

Bisco Inferno to light up the Rocks this weekend!

Spring is in the air, and its time to get outside.  The outdoor music scene is just starting to kick in to high gear. If you’re anything like me, your calendar is filling up fast with festival dates, bar-b-ques, and all manner of fun-in-the-sun distractions. You’ve already called in sick to about half the summer work hours, and now you’re praying you don’t run into the boss down at the park this afternoon.

6 Servings of Disco Biscuits in Denver

There was big news over the weekend!  Nearing the end of their massive US tour, the Disco Biscuits rumbled through two sold out shows last Friday and Saturday night, at the Ogden Theater in Denver, and it won’t be long before the Biscuits are back again.  The big news was the announcement of a headlining show at the most spectacular venue in the country – Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO.  For die-hard Dis

Day 2 of Jam on the River 2008

Due to a scheduling mishap by the Disco Biscuits, they had to play during Day 1, which made the festival's lineup suffer tremendously on Day 2 (pictures here). The festival's organizers compensated by making Day 2 free if one held any ticket stub from either Day 1 or any of the late night shows. That saved Day 2's attendance. We can't blame the festival's organizers for this one.

Hometown Biscuits Rule the 23rd Annual Jam on the River

Philadelphia's favorite jam friendly festival kicked off its 23rd annual party by the Delaware River on Penn's Landing. This perfect city location set the scene for two days and three nights of live music and camaraderie.

Langerado Part II

As I said, I had gone back to camp earlier to make sure things were as secured as possible and to attach the tent to the car just in case I needed to sleep in there that night. Good thing I had.  I awoke about 4 a.m. to raging winds and wicked rain.  I seemed securely attached…for now. The wind was blowing so hard that my tent was beginning to lean sideways.
