The Felice Brothers

Rebellious upstate New York rockers The Felice Brothers release Life In The Dark (Yep Roc Records) today. An album Consequence of Sound calls a “twisted American odyssey,” it pairs songwriter Ian Felice’s plainspoken poetry with the band’s musical home-brew of rock, folk and blues. According to Felice, it explores the world “through the wrong end of a telescope into the perpetual apocalypse of everyday life.”

“Plunder,” the second song to debut from The Felice Brothers’ upcoming release Life In The Dark, premieres today via Welcome to Night Vale (ep. 89: Who’s a Good Boy? Part 1). Listen to the rowdy narrative on iTunes for a healthy dose of skepticism.

The upstate New York band The Felice Brothers will release a new album, Life In The Dark, through Yep Roc Records on June 24 (available for pre-order now). Today the band debuts the lively, rousing “Aerosol Ball,” from the forthcoming release.

An adoring crowd greeted Neko Case and the Felice Brothers at House of Blues Boston on Wednesday night.

The Felice Brothers will support Mumford & Sons on two shows this February, on the 5th at TD Garden in Boston, MA and on the 6th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.

The Felice Brothers announced today that they have signed with Fat Possum Records, home of Andrew Bird, The Walkmen, and Wavves, among many others. The band will release their fifth full-length album and Fat Possum debut later this spring. More news on the upcoming album will be confirmed shortly.
