Mash-up master Gregg Gillis, aka Girl Talk, didn’t give a concert last night at the Ogden Theater in Denver, he threw a party. Complete with balloons, confetti, a machine that blew streams of toilet paper through the air, and his own intricate brand of generations of multi-genre beats, hooks and lyrics blended together, he served up dance party cocktails to an eager, thirsty crowd.

MONOLITH FESTIVAL presented by Esurance returns to Red Rocks Amphitheatre on September 12th and 13th with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs headlining Saturday night, and The Mars Volta topping the bill on Sunday. The festival debuted in 2007 as the first multi-day, multi-stage festival ever held at Red Rocks - Colorado's beloved outdoor venue. Monolith was instantly adopted as an indie fan favorite and a staple of the summer festival season.

As I make my annual pilgrimage to my 6th Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, I cannot help but see the nostalgia in the place that is so familiar for many reasons. It starts with the car ride, where I feel like I can drive forever because I cannot wait to pass those Bonnaroo toll booths that symbolize a sense of accomplishment and enlightenment that is about to take place. The way I see it, I now have 96 hours of church to fill my soul until next year.

The second annual ROTHBURY Festival at the Double JJ Ranch in Michigan promises four days and nights of music by 60+ bands this July 4th Weekend.  Today, ROTHBURY announces a handful of new artists just added to the lineup.
