Jean-Michel Jarre will release a remastered version of his historic live album The Concerts In China on November 25. Originally released in 1982, the album served as a document of an historic concert tour Jarre undertook in 1981 - consisting of five spectacular concerts in the People's Stadium of Shanghai and Beijing. It was the first time a Western music artist had performed in the country following the Cultural Revolution.

Today, October 21, electronic music pioneer Jean-Michel Jarre releases OXYMORE, is 22nd studio album and conceptually his most ambitious and groundbreaking to date. OXYMORE is the first commercial release of this scale which fully utilizes multichannel and binaural sound (spatial 3D), with Jarre not just producing, but also composing and recording and mixed in audio 360 in the "Innovation" studios of Radio France.

Internationally acclaimed composer, performer, producer and cultural ambassador Jean-Michel Jarre has collaborated with the avant-garde electronic artist project Deathpact on “BRUTALISM REPRISE,” a new version of his current single “BRUTALISM.” While the original version of the track takes its inspiration from the early days of Berlin techno, the reprise out today, September 30 on SONY Music places it firmly on the underground dancefloors of today.

Jean-Michel Jarre has collaborated with Martin Gore (Depeche Mode) for a brand-new rework of his latest single “BRUTALISM.” The collaboration titled “BRUTALISM TAKE 2” takes the Berlin techno inspired beats of the original version to a new level, capturing the sound of both Jarre and Gore, in a dark and melodic journey.

Electronic music pioneer Jean-Michel Jarre reveals today (August 26) his brand new single “BRUTALISM.” It is the first track to be taken from his 22nd studio album OXYMORE. One of his most ambitious projects to date, it will be released on October 21, 2022 via Sony Music.

“BRUTALISM” is an unashamedly banging techno track that wouldn’t sound out of place at Berghain, the iconic Berlin club and the temple of the genre.

Earlier this spring, electronic music pioneer Jean-Michel Jarre released the musical score for Amazônia, the latest project by award winning photographer and filmmaker Sebastião Salgado which made its debut to high acclaim at the Philharmonic Paris.  A portion of the Amazônia exhibition--which was due to travel to Rome, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and London prior to arriving stateside, but was rerouted due to the global pandemic--is now on view in Los Angeles.  Now through November 13, a select number of images from Amazônia as well as others from Salgado’s catalogue are on view at

Jean-Michel Jarre rang in 2021 with ‘Welcome To The Other Side,’ a groundbreaking live performance from a virtual reality Notre-Dame cathedral. The show, which combined life-like concert visuals in VR with a real live studio performance, introduced a mixed-media approach which was the first of its kind. It attracted a staggering audience of over 75 million viewers globally. This historic achievement saw Jarre top the Pollstar chart for livestreams, outperforming the entire Top 10 combined.

For the first time, electronic music filled the Cour d’honneur courtyard of the Elysée presidential palace in Paris, on Monday night, June 21; Jean-Michel Jarre brought together an inter-generational stage, performing to an audience of young Culture Pass holders, as part of the Fête de la Musique festival.

Electronic music pioneer Jean-Michel Jarre has composed and recorded a 52-minute musical score for Amazônia, a new project by award winning photographer and filmmaker Sebastião Salgado, for the Philharmonic Paris. As well as a regular stereo version, Jarre has also recorded a special binaural version, available digitally and alongside the 5.1.
