Celebrating the city that deeply influenced his music and joyful outlook on life, the release of the music video for "University of Bourbon Street" displays Jimmy Buffett's love affair with New Orleans. This standout track from his final album, Equal Strain On All Parts, features the legendary Preservation Hall Jazz Band and encapsulates the spirit of the city that left an indelible impact on Buffett.

The Downtown Las Vegas Events Center (DLVEC) is thrilled to announce that they will be hosting the inaugural Margaritaworld, a music & culinary experience, on Saturday, April 20. The event will feature performances from several members of the original Coral Reefer Band, in a tribute to Jimmy Buffett and Alan Jackson with the Stinson Brotherz, and a tribute to Dave Matthews Band by Grey Street.

On Wedneday night, at the 57th Annual CMA Awards, the illustrious singer/songwriter, musician and producer Mac McAnally graced the awards stage alongside celebrated artists Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson and Zac Brown Band to pay homage to the beloved late Jimmy Buffett. Together, Chesney and McAnally delivered a heartfelt rendition of Buffett's classic hit, "A Pirate Looks at Forty." This iconic song, both written and performed by Buffett, made its debut on his 1974 album, A-1-A. The performance can be enjoyed here.

Though the world of music has known countless songsmiths, very few have ever embodied the spirit of their songs the way Jimmy did. His passing is a poignant reminder of the free-spirited, sun-soaked moments his music immortalized.
