Legendary Musicians All on One Stage for Les Paul's 100th

The Les Paul 100th Anniversary year officially kicked off in Times Square New York on Tuesday, June 9th, 2015. This is the same day the late, great Les Paul would have turned 100 years old. The day long festivities closed out the night with a star-studded red carpet and a musical celebration that brought together some of the world’s most legendary guitarists and musicians all on one stage to pay homage to Les Paul, the innovator, inventor, musician and legend.

The Les Paul Foundation Continues to Change Lives

The Les Paul Foundation continues to change the face of music through various grants awarded to organizations around the country. The foundation's support of Guitars for Vets, a program headquartered in Milwaukee, helps in supporting veterans who graduate from its programs obtain guitars. Throughout his life Les Paul was an innovator who invented multi-track recording and the solid body electric guitar. He was interested in music education, engineering and medical research through his entire life.

After a PBS Thirteen broadcast and two Independent Music Award nominations, “Thank You Les” hits the new Cutting Room in NYC for a film screening and live performance packed with “Special Guests” to celebrate the release of a limited edition vinyl.   “Thank You Les”, a recording and documentary tribute to industry icon, Les Paul, brings forth a dream cast of big name talent including Keith Richards, Steve Miller, Slash, José Feliciano, Bucky Pizzarelli, Eddie Brigati and more.

Les Paul & Friends: A Tribute to a Legend

When Les Paul & Friends: American Made World Played dropped in 2005, it made history. Produced by Bob Cutarella and Fran Cathcart, it brought Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Sam Cooke, Steve Miller, and many others into the studio to play with guitar pioneer Les Paul. That recording earned two Grammys in 2006.
