Just a couple of weeks into 2018, Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, California, hosted its first House Party of the year with legendary proprietor Phil Lesh and his Terrapin Family Band performing three sets, each with its own guest guitarist, in the intimate bar/restaurant.

The stars aligned just right in San Francisco on November 3rd at Midnight North’s 3½-hour show at the venerable Great American Music Hall, as an epic two-set show transpired that included fine contributions from Grateful Dead co-founders Bob Weir and Phil Lesh, two core members of Vermont reggae-rock jamsters Twiddle, the Northbound Horns, and good old Bay Area guitar gunslinger Ro

California Folk-Rock band Midnight North has announced the release of their third studio album, Under the Lights, on June 16, 2017. Recorded by David Simon-Baker (Los Lobos, ALO, Jackie Greene, Mother Hips) at the Greene Room and Allegiant Studios, the 11-track album represents a country and soul-tinged sound that capitalizes on the band’s expert songwriting, strong melodies and seamless three-part harmonies.

Northern California’s Midnight North are proud to announce the release of a free full-length album of music in celebration of their upcoming summer tour that kicks off tomorrow.

On Friday night, Goodnight, Texas & Midnight North descended on Phil Lesh’s own The Grate Room @ Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael.  This was the first time GN, TX played together at Terrapin, meanwhile Midnight North has been a resident artist since their inception in 2013.  The night was met with additional anticipation as Phil Lesh was billed as a guest bassist

Readying themselves for an extensive winter tour that reaches as far East as Chicago, Bay Area bluegrass group Hot Buttered Rum performed a low key and blistering show on a Saturday night at Moe’s Alley in Santa Cruz, CA.
