All-pro funk and soul ensemble The Nth Power are proud to announce their 2016 summer festival appearances and extended tour dates. The dates come on the heels of a successful New Orleans Jazz Fest run which included shows at Howlin’ Wolf, FIYA Fest, and a sold-out “Earth Wind and Power” performance. The new string of dates will keep The Nth Power closer to home as they journey along the East Coast and into the Midwest for summer festivals including Summer Camp, Electric Forest, Revival Fest, Disc Jam and more.

With a career that’s seen her back Beyoncé, initiate the beat in Dumpstaphunk, and now heading her own band, The Nth Power, she’s seen all corners of the industry while banging away behind bands of all sizes. Nikki recently spoke with The Grateful Web’s John Schumm to discuss The Nth Power’s tour, their new album, “Abundance,” and their mission to spread love through music.
Brooklyn, NY’s The Nth Power are proud to announce a slew of North American spring tour dates. The soul, funk and R&B all-pro onslaught are hitting the road for 40+ dates over a 2-month timespan and will share select stages with Turkuaz, The Motet, Jennifer Hartswick Band, Jonathan Scales Fourchestra and others.
When it comes to a modern approach to funk-laden soul music, some groups are able to exponentially build energy groove after groove.
In the case of one particular super-group whose roster plays like a who’s who of world class talent, The Nth Power is more than a moniker.
Proving that soul music can be exponentially greater than the sum of its parts, The Nth Power is transcendence, personified. "When you hear this music, you're going to feel something – you're going to connect with something higher than yourself," the band explains in their mini-documentary, Welcome To The Nth Power.
In a world full of darkness and chaos, The Nth Power is on a mission to share the light -- announcing their "Fall In Love" 2014 North American tour. The tour's western leg is highlighted by a six-date West Coast concert series with British funk fusionists, The New Mastersounds, which kicks off Sept. 23 in Seattle, WA, before headlining two nights in Portland, OR Sept. 24 and 25, two nights in San Francisco, CA Sept. 26 and 27, and ending in Santa Cruz, CA Sept. 28.
