Mike Gordon and his band will play a weekend of Northeast dates in March along with a hometown show in Burlington in April. The run includes stops in Philadelphia at Union Transfer (3/9), Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn (3/10), and The Egg in Albany (3/11). The band will also return to Higher Ground in Burlington, VT (4/5) as part of the club's month-long 20th Anniversary celebration.

The musicians that make up Phish are relentless students and teachers of musical prowess, theory, and expression. It seems as though they never rest and constantly create. After a powerful three nights at Dick’s Sporting Good Park in Colorado a month and a half ago, bassist Mike Gordon was back with his solo band to close his tour in the mountains at the elegant Boulder Theater.

There may be no band that has been more critically analyzed song by song and show by show than Phish. Phish phans are some of the most attuned and astute musical analysts in the music scene. Since my first show in December of 1996 at the Spectrum in Philadelphia to my 197th show at the closing of this summer tour at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado, I have seen and heard such vastly differing opinions about nearly every show.

To celebrate the release of OGOGO, Mike Gordon and his band will be doing a two special in-store mini-electric performance & autograph signings on tour. The first is this week at The Sound Garden in Syracuse, NY and the next will be on the last day of tour at Twist & Shout Records in Denver. Details about both are here.

Phish Summer 2017 Show Used Drumsticks just added to the current charity auction. Baker's Dozen shows included! The Mimi Fishman Foundation is auctioning 3 signed posters from the recent Phish Commerce City, CO shows (Dick's Sporting Goods Park). All proceeds raised will be donated to an animal rescue origination helping with the pet victims of Irma.

Trey Anastasio Band closed out Grace Potter’s Grand Point North festival in Burlington, Vermont last night. In years past, Potter has headlined both Saturday and Sunday night at the Festival. This year, Potter headlined Saturday night while turning over that spot to Trey Anastasio Band (TAB) on Sunday. (Grace performed a full set immediately before Trey.) This was the first show for TAB in Burlington since in October, 2011. Potter has performed on several bills with Anastasio over the years.
