FOLLOW THE ARROW, the second annual edition of the Hudson Valley festival presented by Marco Benevento at Arrowood Farms in Accord, NY, has been announced for Saturday, June 17. Benevento and his band will be joined by Rubblebucket, The Barr Brothers, Scott Metzger, and Benevento Family Band. A second round of artists and special guests will be revealed in early April.

Ten year anniversaries are certainly something to celebrate, and that is exactly what Joe Russo's Almost Dead did this past weekend with a four night run of shows in the New York City metro region. The performances were at the Brooklyn Bowl for the first night and the Capitol Theatre for the rest.

Today, Scott Metzger shares a new track, “The Dark Triad.” The song was originally recorded during the sessions that led to the Brooklyn-based guitarist’s solo acoustic album, Too Close To Reason, that was issued via Royal Potato Family earlier this year. Metzger felt the recording didn’t work within the 12-track collection’s sequence, but he loved the performance and ultimately decided to release it as a stand-alone single.

Montclair, NJ was the place to be last Saturday night, as Joe Russo's Almost Dead packed the historic Wellmont Theater to cap off another enjoyable three night run in this vibrant New York City suburb. The line to enter the show wrapped around the corner as dead heads of all ages eagerly awaited a mind melting performance by this talented quintet, and they were not disappointed.

WOLF!, the treasured Brooklyn-based guitarist Scott Metzger's "Telecaster rock trio" with bassist Jon Shaw and drummer Taylor Floreth, returns after a six year hiatus with a new EP, Adult Entertainment, to be released via Royal Potato Family on October 28.

Marco Benevento announces FOLLOW THE ARROW, a one day festival presented by the Woodstock, NY-based artist to be held Saturday, June 18 at Arrowood Farms in Accord, NY. Benevento will be joined by The Slip, Antibalas, El Michels Affair (DJ set), Mikaela Davis & Southern Star, Karina Rykman, Jayla Kai and Ratboy Jr.

It's our great honor to bring you Scott Metzger's debut solo album, Too Close To Reason. Over a 20-plus year career, Scott has made a name for himself on the live music scene. He's one of two guitarists/vocalists in Joe Russo's Almost Dead, while he's collaborated with the likes of Phil Lesh, Nels Cline and John Scofield, to name but a few. And while he's fronted his own bands—most notably WOLF!, The Showdown Kids and RANA—he's never stepped out with his own album until now.

Today, Scott Metzger shares "Waltz For Beverly" the second single and video from his debut album, Too Close To Reason, due March 4 on Royal Potato Family.

For those of us not on the East coast, Scott Metzger may be known as the guitarist alongside Tom Hamilton from JRAD or as the guy that stepped up to tour with CATS after Neal Casal’s passing.
