Martin Sexton brought his solo Acoustic show to the Boulder landmark this past Saturday along with opening guest, Leslie Stevens.

"Circular Energy" that's what Rick called it.  I had the pleasure to speak to Rick King, a founding members of Lubriphonic, just moments before the band's long-time anticipated return to their hometown Chicago.

Portland, Oregon- The Mount Tabor Theater is located in the heart of the Hawthorne district. A place where musicians and fans alike come to celebrate music, culture, or even just the sanctity of being a part of the atypical community that has begun to flower in this calm and receptive state.

Small towns give birth to good things, two of them are old friends and great music.

Its been many years since I have seen Rush play and I'm glad I finally got to see them again. Rush has a very dedicated fan base and when tickets go on sale for their shows, they sell out in minutes. That was the case with this years Red Rocks show and is also why they added an additional second show to their Colorado run. The other reason these specific shows sold out so fast, is because Rush has been spending this tour covering their 1981 classic 'Moving Pictures' in its entirety.

The Grateful Web trekked out to lovely Telluride, Colorado last week for Phish's shows in one of the most majestic places to ski, ride and see some of the greatest bluegrass, jazz, and in this case one of the greatest live acts to ever grace the stage in Town Park.  Phish, who has not played Telluride since their 1991 shows, was in fine form for what many anticipated to be the best run of the summer.   The beauty of T

There’s something homey feeling about the idea of a man sitting out on his porch as the sun sets, plucking away at his guitar as he moves forward and back in a rocking chair. And it was just that image and sensation that Langhorne Slim brought to the stage, rocking chair and all, as he sang his songs of love lost and love found to an audience more than eager to share in his musical story telling.

Before I even begin to describe the Disco Biscuit madness that has been transpiring lately, I would like to qualify the title of this article. The word renaissance means rebirth.

Maryland’s Merriweather Post Pavilion is surrounded by trees.  The stage itself has exposed wood, helping the venue to visually blend in with its’ surroundings, if not aurally.
