SiriusXM and Howard Stern today announced that starting today through May 15, SiriusXM will start offering free access to its full lineup of Premier Streaming content to listeners in North America. Howard kicked off the unprecedented Stream Free access this morning while hosting The Howard Stern Show, on channel 100, from his home.

The Payback 501(c)(3) has partnered with The Sound Mind Collective and Color Red Music to establish a Musicians' Emergency Relief Fund in support of musicians facing economic hardships as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The fund provides an opportunity for live music supporters to contribute directly towards the financial stability of performing artists who may not be able to meet basic needs as cancellations increase. Eligible applicants will receive microgrants ranging from $100-$500 to cover housing, food, medical care, and other necessities.

To address these challenges moving forward, the Preservation Hall Foundation is focusing its attention towards caring for our musicians and helping these master practitioners weather this crisis.

Xavier Dphrepaulezz, aka Fantastic Negrito, was at home social distancing with his family like everyone else in the world and felt a need to connect, so he decided to ask people to send him videos of what they were doing to keep themselves sane during this unprecedented time in history. The request was met with surprising enthusiasm and he included the crowd-sourced footage in a video using his new song "Chocolate Samurai." The song will appear on his soon-to-be-announced new album.

The legendary Billy Bob’s Texas, located in the heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District, first opened in 1981. While concerts for April have been postponed due to social distancing as a result of the COVID-19 virus, the colossal Billy Bob's Texas will continue their concerts as soon as possible.
