It’s wonderful, it’s wonderful: on Friday 6 July, no other than Paolo Conte will headline the Gent Jazz Festival 2018. The 17th festival edition will take place from 29 June to 8 July 2018 on the magical Bijloke site in Ghent. The octogenarian melancholic musician with the recognizable smoky voice always knows how to move his audience with a surprising mix of styles. Jazz, however, remains Conte’s first love. Tickets go on sale on Friday 8 December at 10 a.m.

Miami-based concert promotion company Massive Ideas has just released their first round artist announcement for Fractal Beach 2018 – set to return to the Historic Virginia Key Beach Park in Miami, Florida, from February 2nd - 4th.

The video for Whiskey Shivers new song “Reckless” continues with the bands tradition of creating visually arresting and innovative videos.  Wadleigh’s concept was simple -  find a way to make a room that could spin in order to generate enough force to make the band stick to the walls – all while playing the song.  Enter a couple of MIT educated mechanical engineers, an army of volunteers, a 360 camera rig, and a bunch of breakable dinnerware and you get “Reckless.”  The band admits that contraption was a “DIY carnival ride that could have gone way wrong.” 

Early this morning, Tuesday, December 5th, John Mayer was admitted into the hospital for emergency appendectomy forcing the Dead & Company December 5th concert in New Orleans to be postponed.

All tickets for the December 5 show will be honored for the rescheduled date. Information on the rescheduled date will be announced as soon as possible.  Should ticketholders choose to seek a refund, they will be available at point of purchase.
