Fresh off the release of its ‘Jubilation’ album (10.7 via Billy Blue Records), roots “supergroup” (NPR) Appalachian Road Show announces that it will make its Grand Ole Opry debut on Friday, November 25th.

Appalachian Road Show member Jim VanCleve has performed at the Opry countless times with artists including Vince Gill, Mountain Heart, Josh Turner, Ricky Skaggs, Rhonda Vincent and many others, but the band is fulfilling its dream of stepping into the circle as a premier Bluegrass supergroup, who The Tennessean says sounds like “the nexus of folk music's traditional Irish roots, the genesis of American popular music at Appalachian barn dances, and the Grand Ole Opry's birth in 1925,” for the first time. The Appalachia-inspired band will follow in the footsteps of country music's biggest icons, spotlighting its unique storytelling abilities and musical virtuosity, which draw inspiration from the rich and vibrant history of the Appalachian region.

“It's always an incredible honor to be asked to play on Country Music's most iconic and legendary stage, in any capacity,” says VanCleve. “But, you can be assured, we count it as an extra special blessing to be asked to perform there as Appalachian Road Show for the first time! We are beyond excited and unspeakably grateful for the opportunity to take our authentic Appalachian music and fun to the Grand Ole Opry Stage!”
