Celebrating five years in operation this summer, Cobblestone Live Music & Arts Festival will return to downtown Buffalo, NY the weekend of July 14-15, featuring performances by Andy Grammar, Twiddle, Andy Frasco & The U.N., Jukebox The Ghost, Cooper Alan, and more. Today, festival organizers Twenty6 Productions and Buffalo Iron Works are proud to announce a partnership with Buffalo-based nonprofit, P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative as the event’s primary beneficiary. Providing financial, practical, and emotional support to families in Western New York facing pediatric cancer, P.U.N.T. operates with collaboration and guidance from community hospital partners to ensure that every dollar raised gets channeled where it is most needed.
P.U.N.T. Executive Director Gwen Mysiak shares, “As a grassroots nonprofit with a critical mission for Western New York families facing the incomprehensible plight of pediatric cancer, we are honored to be the charitable partner of Cobblestone Live Music & Arts Festival. Their vast array of quality entertainment offerings, combined with the talent and passion of the Cobblestone Live team, will undoubtedly make this two-day festival a highlight of our Buffalo summer and an unforgettable event experience. The fact that it also will lift our cause in the process makes us exceedingly proud and grateful.”
A portion of proceeds from Cobblestone Live Music & Arts Festival 2023 will support P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative and its numerous initiatives. To learn more about P.U.N.T., visit puntpediatriccancer.org.
With just one month until its fifth annual event, Cobblestone Live has also shared a detailed list of over 50 culinary and craft vendors for those who want to get a head start on their festival planning. Throughout the weekend, passholders can indulge in delicious Middle Eastern street food from Falafel Bar, smokin’ barbecue at Fat Bob’s Smokehouse, refreshing beverages courtesy of Dottie’s Lemonade, mouth watering frozen treats from Big Papa’s Ice Cream, and much more. Other on-site experiences will include a chicken wing eating contest presented by Wingnutz, Hatchets and Hops axe throwing, the Junior Jerry Jam Kid’s Village, The Bird’s Nest aerial arts, and more. Also present will be the Erie County Department of Health, another local nonprofit working to combat the opioid epidemic through the distribution of Narcan and other harm reduction resources at large community events.
In an effort to make Cobblestone Live accessible to as many festival enthusiasts as possible, organizers have introduced several ADA improvements that will be incorporated at this year’s event. Braille fashion company Aille Design (pronounced: eye) will sponsor the ADA initiative for Cobblestone Live. Founder and CEO Alexa Jovanovic and Director of Operations Jake Walsh are working with local members of the disability community to implement a more accessible festival experience. Stay tuned for more information about the ADA accessibility plan and how Cobblestone Live is celebrating inclusion for all.
