“Paisley Park is such a legendary place to record music,” says Wong. “It was Prince’s studio and even home for years. Studio A was his sanctuary. Coming back to Paisley Park and recording my songs was an absolute joy. The band was HOT that day and it shows in the recording.
“I grew up just on the other side of town from Paisley Park and this was my first time recording in Studio A. It was fun to watch and listen to The Hornheads and Sonny T tell stories about countless hours and nights in the studio and hear about the music they made there that’s both become hit songs AND never been released before. The creative energy in the studio is palpable, and you hear/see it in this session."
